Amnesty International Canada Francophone section featured Saeed Malekpour in their Write-for-Rights campaign - asking people to write solidarity messages for Saeed (http://www.amnistie.ca/site/images/stories/section_agir/campagnes/cartes_voeux/Malekpour.php). Good news: Saeed has seen the greeting cards and was so happy about them.

A message of gratitude from Saeed Malekpour's sister:
"In a miraculous way Evin prison authorities showed the Greeting Cards written by Amnesty International Canada supporters to Saeed, though they didn't let him to keep them. It was such a surprise for Saeed. He got so excited and could hardly believe that so many people whom didn't know him personally, were thinking about him and caring about him. When my mother told me about this, I myself was so happy that I hardly could get any sleep during the night. A special thanks to all of you who remember my brother and took the time to write solidarity messages for him and a big thank you to Amnesty to arrange this and made it possible. "
